Early Bird Special – Golden Gate Tour

Depart early to take advantage of up to an hour extra of touring! Your destination is this quaint bayside town, Sausalito, just beyond San Francisco and the iconic Golden Gate Bridge.

A one-of-a-kind roadtrip experience as you explore beyond the city in our new GoCar Sports – an Arcimoto “FUV” electric vehicle that is a freeway legal, three-wheeled motorcycle with a top speed of 75 mph. This vehicle is designed to offer you an exhilarating, open-air driving experience for two people sitting in a tandem configuration.

This tour is for the adventurous explorers who crave speed, adventure — and of course savings! The GPS guided GoCar will take you across the Golden Gate Bridge north into Sausalito. You’ll explore the waterfront town, cruising through quaint streets and past waterfront view. You’l get spectacular views of the Bay with the city in backdrop and the majestic Fort Baker (one of the components of California’s Golden Gate National Recreation Area). Plus you’re able to cross the Golden Gate Bridge with the GoCar Sports — so you can go farther and explore more then just the city sites on this special tour!

Go off the beaten path through the hinterland of San Francisco via the Presidio and Crissy Field on the way to the Golden Gate Bridge and then onto Sausalito. Capture amazing photos along the Pacific Ocean and see the Golden Gate Bridge up close. Park and take a stroll along the span of the bridge if you choose.

Optional Detours: There is a detour option to venture into the Marin Headlands to extend the tour if you wish, with great driving roads built by the US Army. Amazing military history along the way. Finish your drive where tour buses can’t go by winding your way up Russian Hill to take an exhilarating ride down the Crooked Street (Lombard St. is optional detour).

This tour is approximately one and half hours drive time (weekends may have traffic) and has several fun, informative detours and stop options along the way.  If you want to extend the tour you have the option of taking the Marin Headlands detour or just cross back over the Golden Gate Bridge.

In case of fog, our GoCar Sports are equipped with heated seats for the driver and passengers, and heated hand grips for the driver — they make a huge difference!
