Hi Nathan, We had a GREAT time with your gocars! Definitely the highlight of our trip to SF. We did both the downtown and the tour that took us out towards the Presidio. | I just want to let you guys know how great a job you are doing. I took a GoCar tour last year and it was amazing. I can\'t even tell you how many people I\'ve recommended it to. You just can\'t help but laugh the whole time.
I have tons of friends who are locals in SF and talk big games about not wanting to look like a \"tourist.\" They put up the front that no SF hipster would be caught dead having so many people staring at them. They all mocked me for getting in the GoCar (and I\'ll admit I was hesitant at first). But afterwards I was preaching: Don’t knock it ‘til you try it...because those things are great. And now, almost all of them have buckled and given it a try. And everyone The employees are great. The tours are hilarious. Truly one of the top SF experiences a person can do (even if they\'ve been in the city for years). We\'ll keep sending people your way. Really loved it. We had a GREAT time with the GoCar - we were planning on renting it for a couple of hours (two or maybe three) and ended up staying out for nearly five hours. My dad and I have both spent time living in San Fran (I live here now, he lived here 40 years ago), and we both saw things we've never seen before. We also really had fun in the car itself - it was fun to drive, and a great way to spend time outside while covering a lot of ground. Nathan, My wife and I had an awesome time with the GoCar…It was very easy and it was nice to have the automatic tour guide giving us information as we drove….We had the GoCar all day and was able to go all over the city. Hello Mr. Nathan Withrighton, Unlike the group city tours that are crowed my husband and I were able to share this moment with just the two of us together. He and I did not have to battle to get a descent seat or lean over another person to see; it was simply him and me. Also keeping in mind that group city tours do not allow entrance in certain location; with GoCar I was able to go just about anywhere. What I enjoyed the most was that my husband and I were we able to enjoy the beautiful scenery without any stress and not forgetting the S.F. breeze was a truly a wonderful feeling and experience. What I would like to be added to the tour is the house that is in the sit-com "Full House". I really had my heart set on seeing that part of the guided tour. And I wish that would be added the next time I take the tour. Rena Singh |

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to tell you about my recent rental of the "Go Car" in San Francisco. A friend and I came for a quick weekend trip, and decided to rent the Go Car for Saturday. I couldn't believe all the places we got to see - even though we picked up the car at approx. 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, by 4:45 p.m. when we were returning it, we still hadn't seen all we wanted to see. There is so much to see on the city tour, we couldn't do it all!! We had a blast visiting the Golden Gate Bridge, seeing the different views of Alcatraz, and of course, driving down Lombard Street - there's no better way to see THAT!! I would HIGHLY recommend renting a GO CAR to anyone visiting the San Francisco area. When I bring my sister back later this year, we will definately be visiting your company again!! See you soon! | We had a fabulous time. My 17 year old niece and I spent a long weekend in San Francisco. We used all methods of public transportation and took a motorized trolley tour on our first afternoon. In hindsight, we probably should have taken your tour instead and used the car for a full day. We created a fair bit of attention and answered many questions about rental rates etc. Hopefully we added to your business. | My husband and I were a bit skeptical at first, but there aren't enough words to describe how insanely fun this was! The tour was very informative and we loved being able to stop and tour at our own pace. We really enjoyed being able to be tourists at our leisure. The convertible makes it so you can really be a part of the surroundings and truly enjoy the scenery. We loved being able to see the parts of San Francisco we wanted and not having to go by some strict tour schedule. Thanks for a truly wonderful day. We had a fantastic time on our tour of San Francisco in Go Car. We had already been in San Francisco for 7 days and on the 8th and last day in the city decided to try Go Car. Are we ever glad we did! We saw places we hadn't thought of seeing and heard, from our GPS guide, about the historical backgrounds as well. It was fun and informative. Dear Nathan, We had an awesome time with our Gocar. It was a great way to see the city. I have lived in SF for 9 years and had actually not been to a couple of spots on the tour. The only suggestions we had is that there could be more music esp when there is dead time in the tour. also at the end we lost the GOS which was too bad. The car was easy to handle, the price was reasonable, and the service was excellent. Nathan, We thought the bike trip would be the ultimate family adventure and it was enjoyable but the Go Car trip the next day was unbelievably fun. San Francisco is so amazing and it is really hard to take it all in as I had been there numerous times without seeing as much as it saw in just a few hours. My husband rode with our 11 year old and I rode with our 6 year old and we had so much fun that we told a bunch of Bay Area natives that they had to do the same just to see their city.....from a wonderful perspective. My colleague, on my recent trip, had so much fun she couldn't stop telling others about it and she carried around the brochure as she couldn't believe what she had done as the size the of the car was daunting at first for her. |
Hi Nathan, Sorry for the delay in getting this to you. I’ve only just returned back to the UK. I have to congratulate you on the idea; it really was the highlight of my time in San Francisco. I’d hoped to rent one again when I returned back at the end of January but I didn’t get back as soon as I hoped. I felt the Go Car gave me the perfect opportunity to see most of San Francisco sights at my own pace. The commentary was brilliant and very informative in a fun way, compared to the normal sight seeing tours when it can just be a case of ‘if you look left you’ll see’. | The experience was great!!! I took my 10 year-old goddaughter and she had a great time. We didn't have time to do the whole tour, but she wants to do it the next time she is in the city. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I love GoCar. I grew up in the Bay Area so I thought I had seen everything San Francisco has to offer. I was happily surprised the first time I did GoCar to learn so many new facts about San Francisco and see parts of the city I never knew existed. I have done GoCar 3 times, both with locals and visitors, and it's always been the highlight of everyone's trip. My friend that lives in New York City can't stop raving about her GoCar experience. | I saw your advertisement on the internet and thought that would be a fun and exciting way to see the city, so I booked a reservation. My partner & I took the tour and it was awesome!! I have never had that much fun!! We saw parts of the city that we would never have seen on our own. We are really looking forward to to bringing our daughters back with us so that we can take them on the tour as well. Thank You for making this type of tour possible.

| Just want to let you guys know that we had a BLAST yesterday using the GoCars. I've lived in San Francisco and have taken many a friend on tours around the city but this BEATS all other methods of touring! Regardless of the frigid cold air, we all had an absolute great time cruising around. The GPS touring system totally surprised me on the timing of giving directions and giving extra info about sights without being annoying and overbearing. Going down Lombard has never been so much fun and I completely recommend, and will, to all my friends who are into this kind of stuff.

Nathan: In a nutshell: our GoCar tour of SF was easily the most fun thing we have ever done while visiting a new place! We are a well traveled family of 4 – 2 adults and 2 kids ages 11 and 8 – who has been to Europe multiple times and takes at least 2 significant trips/year so we have done a lot of touring. NOTHING could top our Go car tour. We loved the tour guide information – informative, the right level of detail etc and the mode of transportation of a blast. We felt safe despite driving in traffic; we loved being outside to fully experience the sights and sounds of SF, we adored the independence to do more or less of what we were interested in, and we loved not having to really get bogged down in following a map and making decisions about where to turn and where to go. It took all the work out of a self guided tour but added back the thrill of the experience and the independence! A brilliant concept that deserves tons of press!! Well done!! | Nathan, I have to say that the GoCar Tour was by far one of the most fun vacation days I have spent! This is coming from a guy that usually spends vacation time diving in tropical locations. We were in the car for nearly 7 hours and spent he entire day laughing and smiling. Great way to see and learn about a city. I am coming up to San Francisco for a wedding in June and I told the Groom to let everyone know about the tour, especially the guests that have never been to the city before. | Hi Nathan, My daughter Christina lives in the Bay area and while visiting her we had the opportunity to use the GoCars. It was definitely a blast. Those cars are the coolest way to get around and see the SF area. I have been telling everyone about the wonderful time we had and recommending it to all. In addition, I give out your web address every chance I can to all my friends. It's a little scary having all those "larger" vehicles around you but once you get used to it, it's not bad. The GPS is a great idea and makes it so you can't get lost. My daughter had a friend with her that knew the area so we did detour off the normal route. It was a little chilly and we got caught in the rain on the way back but it didn't "dampen" things a bit. As our Governor, Arnold, used to say "I'll be back"! Over here in the UK I normally ride a Honda ST3100 so the chance to ride a 50cc GoCar just could not be missed. The performance was much better even with two of us than I expected, nothing like my bike but very nearly as much fun. Next time she will bring her driving license so I get to do that bit. I think it is fair to say we will remember all the fun we had in the GoCar, long after the view of Golden Gate and other sights have faded. When we come back to San Francisco in a few years time (if we can save enough money) we will certainly want to hire one again. Unlike the bus tours we went at our own pace, on some hills at GoCar pace! A couple of times we headed off route to check out something, the good GPS lady didn’t seem to mind and soon welcomed us back when we rejoined the route – try and get a bus tour to do that!. It turned out to be a not great way to see SF but the BEST way and the people on the street seems happy to see us too. Driving by and having them wave and smile was an added bonus. Parking was easy and apart from the wharf section when we were in traffic even the cars and trucks didn’t seem that bad. You soon learn to hold back from the exhausts from the big 4x4’s. The GPS tour was very well thought out with a good mix of detail, we didn’t get lost once. Our only mistake was not to book a GoCar in the morning so we could have had more time. | Hello Nathan, Thanks for your message. This past X-mas holiday my relatives came out to visit from Indiana. We live in San Jose,Ca. We always make a point to drive to San Francisco for a day along Fisherman's Wharf and surrounding areas when they come to visit. My relatives have visited many times to our area and we have shown them almost all there is to see in the Bay area. They noticed the go cars on a previous visit so they convinced the whole family (10 of us) to rent the go cars and see the sights. Since we had been to San Francisco many, many times over the years, we were not too excited for this experience since we new the city. What a surprise it was to us. We had a GREAT time. Seeing the city in an open air vehicle gives a new perspective. The gps guided tour was fabulous and we even learned more of the history of San Francisco. We were lucky that on the day of our tour the weather was great and the views of the bay were fantastic. What a fun time we had. My friend and I had a great time riding around San Francisco on the Go Car tour. It is definitely a fun activity and a great way to see the city. The GPS guided tour was great, but it could have been even better if the audio tour had more information. We thought that the information that was given was very interesting, but there could have been more included. For example, we would have liked to hear more about the 1906 earthquake and fire, more about the building of the Golden Gate bridge, and more about the city's history under Mexican control and its missionary history.
